Contribute to the global environment by creating value
We are promoting efforts to switch street lights to LED lights to help "create safe, secure, and bright cities." By contributing to the reduction of local electricity consumption and CO2 emissions, we hope to create a sustainable society. In addition, we also support initiatives aimed at establishing a low-carbon society by providing financial support to solar power and biogas businesses.
Our company has been selected by the Ministry of the Environment as a designated lease operator for the FY2023 Carbon Dioxide Emission Control Measures Project Subsidy (ESG Lease Promotion Project for Building a Decarbonized Society). In addition, our efforts have been evaluated and we have been certified by the Minister of the Environment as an "Excellent Initiatives Certified Business Operator."
As reducing the burden on the global environment becomes a global issue, the industrial sector is also working to reduce waste as much as possible and recycle it as resources, building a recycling-oriented society. Aiming to contribute to this effort, reuse business company NTT FINANCE ASSETS SERVICE CORPORATION reuses "lease-up properties" that have reached the end of their lease period as second-hand products. As a result, they generate almost no waste. In addition, by utilizing the appraisal and sales know-how they have cultivated in the leasing business and their advanced data erasure technology, they also purchase and sell information-related equipment and fixtures owned by customers, thereby reducing waste and promoting the recycling of corporate assets.
(2024 reuse and recycling rate target: 96%)
