Creation of a Safe and Secure Society

With the aging population in Japan and changing times leading to increased demands in the healthcare industry for higher quality and more efficient services, a variety of our leases are being used to purchase expensive medical equipment. NTT TC Leasing is supporting the life-saving healthcare industry through the latest CT and MRI equipment and burden-reducing electric hospital beds.  

ICT is becoming increasingly prevalent in education today, with the introduction of active learning in 2020 and plans to make programming a compulsory subject at elementary schools. To help avoid ICT discrepancies among regions, NTT TC Leasing is providing leases for educational tablets to be integrated across selected regions simultaneously. Furthermore, air conditioning units are becoming vital in combating heat waves, and NTT TC Leasing is working with partner companies to simultaneously distribute air conditioning units to selected regions and improve the educational environment for children.

In collaboration with NTT World Engineering Marine Corporation, NTT TC Leasing built "Kizuna," its first cable ship for laying and maintaining undersea cables, which are used by telecommunications and services providers to offer network services. In addition, the vessel features an emergency response feature to promptly restore telecommunications after disasters such as large earthquakes. Kizuna is used to carry emergency transportation and communications equipment to disaster-stricken areas, and can set up temporary base stations, making it possible to promptly restore the critical communications lifeline.

As part of our support activities for the promotion of music culture, we help with the "Viola Space" music festival, which started from a proposal made by world-famous viola player Nobuko Imai. In May 2021, a crowdless performance was held in Osaka, and performances with audiences were held in Tokyo and Sendai in June. Through concerts and workshops for young musicians and children, we are facilitating communication with local communities contributing to the creation of a prosperous society.
