Regarding the development of a transition finance framework and the acquisition of a DNV third-party evaluation.

NTT TC Leasing Co.,Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & Director: Teiichiro Kondo) (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has formulated a "Transition Finance Framework" (hereinafter referred to as "this Framework") to provide financial support to client companies in their efforts toward realizing a decarbonized society. Furthermore, as the first project utilizing this Framework, the Company has concluded an operating lease agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Lease Agreement") for an LPG carrier operated by MOL ENERGIA PTE. LTD., a group company of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd.

In recent years, the importance of transition finance, which provides financial support to companies in their transitions toward climate change countermeasures and carbon neutrality, has been increasing. Against this backdrop, the Company has set "contributing to a decarbonized society" as a key issue in our sustainability management and has been focusing on providing financial services that contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

This Framework outlines the basic policies and procedures for the Company to financially support our client companies' decarbonization transition as an Enabler ^*1. Furthermore, this Framework is developed in accordance with major international principles and guidelines, and we have obtained a third-party opinion ^*2 from DNV Business Assurance Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "DNV"), an independent third-party assessment organization.

This lease agreement, established in consultation with the Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Group, sets SPTs ^*3 aimed at reducing GHG emissions, and the lease payments will be reduced according to the progress made in achieving these targets. Based on this Framework, we have obtained a certificate of conformity ^*4 from DNV for the conformity assessment we conducted.

Going forward, the Company will utilize this Framework to provide financial support to our clients in advancing their decarbonization strategies and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
